A new dressing containing hydro-desloughing fibres for the management of wound exudate has been released in the UK.

The new URGOCLEAN range has a significant amount of absorption capacity⁽¹⁾ as well as a one-piece removal pad ⁽¹⁾, haemostatic properties⁽¹⁾ and the option of a probe with the rope version.

The dressing has shown beneficial desloughing properties ⁽¹⁾, bacteria trapping capabilities ⁽¹⁾, vertical absorption and retention ⁽¹⁾, conformability ⁽¹⁾ and pain-free dressing changes ⁽¹⁾. The dressings come in sizes 6x6cm,10x10cm 15x20cm and 5x40cm.
